AFDP Research Project Final Evaluation Partly Completed

The evaluation of the APEC Finance and Development Program (AFDP) Research Project, which started in September 2003, was partly completed a few days ago. 12 funded projects have provided their Final Reports on schedule, 6 of which, including the “Impact of Financial Services Liberalization on Pension Fund Management”presided by Professor Patrick B. de Fontenay of The Australian National University, have passed the evaluation done by the AFDP Academic Committee (AFDPAC). The other research reports will be revised based on the Academic Committee Members’comments.
