AFDC Workshop on "Developing Asian Bond Market" Launched in Shanghai

The AFDC Workshop on "Developing Asian Bond Market: Facilitating the Pricing Mechanism" sponsored by China's Ministry of Finance and organized by Asia-Pacific Finance and Development Center (AFDC) was opened at Shanghai National Accounting Institute on May 29 and spanned five days altogether. The purposes of the workshop was to give the delegates from countries in Asia Pacific region a general idea of the latest developments of ABMI for their discussions about the pricing issues for the Asian bond market and the possible solutions. To serve as a platform for the exchanges between supervision bodies and market players in the region and as a driving force to the Asian bond market development are also what the workshop intended.
