Strategic Leadership for GMS Cooperation Learning Program Wrapped up
On Oct 24, the Strategic Leadership Learning Program wrapped up at Shanghai National Accounting Institute. 19 senior officials from the 6 GMS countries participated in the 7-day program. During the program, experts from AFDC, ADB, Asian Management Institute, Brookings Institution, Shanghai Financial Affairs Administration and Shanghai World Expo Organizing Committee had interactive discussions with the participants with regard to strategic leadership.
As a part of Phnom Penh Plan, this program features case studies, experience sharing and group discussions. The participants agreed on many issues, for example, leadership capacity building is very important for GMS countries and experiences from other regional organizations like CAREC are enormously instructive for GMS cooperation.
Cooperation on the program between AFDC and ADB was initiated in late October last year.
