Shanghai DLC Assists with Virtual Symposium on Education for Everyone
Co-organized by Drexel University and Wainhouse Research in conjunction with the World Bank Global Distance Learning Network, a virtual symposium titled Education for Everyone: Expanding Access through Technology took place on Mar. 23-25. Shanghai Distance Learning Center at Asian-Pacific Finance and Development Center assisted with the knowledge exchanging events by having a speaker for the event panel discussion.
Experts in the field from World Bank Institute, Indiana University, Drexel University, Villanova University, Beijing Normal University and East China Normal University talked about the latest trends and challenges in technology application for education. Views on the role of government, policy and NGOs were also shared.
In recent years, Shanghai DLC, an active member of GDLN, has been contributing to knowledge exchange in the Asia Pacific region by hosting or co-organizing a number of virtual symposiums and workshops addressing latest issues in particularly economic field.
