Deputy Finance Minister of Myanmar visited AFDC
At the invitation of the Deputy Director General of the AFDC, the Myanmar delegation who came to attend the AFDC workshop on developing corporate bond market visited the AFDC in the afternoon of July 27th. The delegation is led by Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Finance and Revenue of Myanmar Mr. Hla Thein Swe. The director of the Central Bank of Myanmar Mr. Maung Maung and the executive director of the Securities Exchange Center Ms. Tin May OO were also present at the meeting.
The Deputy Director General Dr. Li first briefly introduced the AFDC and the Shanghai National Accounting Institute and then showed the guests around the campus. At the meeting following that, the two sides both expressed interests to cooperate in capacity building for the finance officials. Ms. Tin May OO also expressed her wish that AFDC could help offer trainings related to bond market development for the young officials in Myanmar.
