Deputy Director General of AFDC was invited to 2010 CoP-MfDR Annual Meeting
The 2010 CoP-MfDR annual meeting sponsored by ADB was held in Siem Reap, Cambodia during November 30 to December 2, attracting about 80 participants from more than 20 countries and international organizations. The theme of this meeting is MfdR-from Concept to Practice. The participants shared their country specific experience and challenges in moving forward the result-based management. In-depth discussions were made around the features and the conditions under which the result-based planning, budgeting, monitoring and evaluation were carried out.
With the support of the International Department of Ministry of Finance, AFDC has been actively engaged in the CoP-MfDR activities. In 2007, AFDC, together with ADB, jointly held the second CoP-MfDR annual meeting. The Shanghai International Program for Development Evaluation Training jointly organized by China Ministry of Finance, the World Bank, Asian Development Bank, and Asia-Pacific Finance and Development Center also trained several members of CoP.
Deputy Director General of AFDC, Dr.Li Louqing was invited to attend the meeting and discussed several issues with other Asian country members. Dr. Li also held discussions with the Strategy and Policy Department of ADB around the cooperation plans for 2011.
