AFDC organizes the third training workshop for Vietnam finance officials in 2011
On October 24, the training workshop on Human Resources Management in China’s Financial Sector opens at Shanghai National Accounting Institute. This is the third training workshop AFDC organized this year for Vietnamese finance officials in collaboration with the Institute of Financial Training of the Ministry of Finance of Vietnam. 15 Vietnamese officials participated in the five-day training event.
The training will focus on China’s strategies and practices in nurturing high-caliber officials in China’s public finance system in terms of talent recruitment, training, assessment and promotion. In particular, three sessions are specially designed to introduce China’s talent development strategy in accounting, finance and insurance industries as well as the practices and measures adopted by Shanghai municipal government in attracting experienced foreign talents and developing skilled local financial professionals in Shanghai.
The speakers for the training workshop are Mr. Yu Weiping, Director General of Personnel and Education Department of the Ministry of Finance of China, Mr. Ouyang Zongshu, Deputy Director General of Accounting Department of the Ministry of Finance of China, Ms. Xie Qiaojie from Shanghai Financial Services Office, and Mr. Sun Guodong from Shanghai Office of China Insurance Regulatory Commission.
At the end of the training, participants will be arranged to pay a half-day’s visit to Shanghai-based Pin An Insurance (Group) Co., Ltd to learn their practices of nurturing and retaining financial talents.
