Workshop on China's Experiences in Corporate Finance and Non - performing Loans Management Held in Beijing
Workshop on China's Experiences in Corporate Finance and Non - performing Loans Management, which was co-organized by the Asia-Pacific Finance and Development Center (AFDC), Ministry of Finance of China and Institute of Financial Training (IFT), Ministry of Finance of Vietnam was held on 5th to 9th May, 2014 in Bejing, China. About 16 participants from departments of National Finance Inspectorate, Corporate Finance, Public Asset Management and State Budget of MOF, Vietnam attended the training.
Mr. Le Van Thai, deputy director of National Finance Inspectorate Department and Mr. Peng Runzhong, director of AFDC jointly opened the training and delivered opening remarks on behalf of the co-organizers. They both agreed that many face to face and distance learning training workshops co-organized by AFDC and IFT were highly praised by two countries’ministries of finance and the experices of socialist market economic construction in China were useful for Vietnam which was undergoing economic reforms. They also hoped that the participants can learn not only the knowledge of Corporate Finance and Non - performing Loans Management, but also the history and culture of China to deepen comprehension of each other.
During the workshop, four Chinese experts introduced China’s policis and experiences from aspects of Corporate Financial Management, Corporate Performance Evaluation, Corporate Asset Management, Corporate Audit Management, Tackling Non-performing Loans and State-owned Capital Operating Budget, etc.
