The 2nd IPAF Training Course held at AFDC
27-29 May, the 2nd IPAF Training Course on Establishing Mechanisms for Maximizing Recovery of NPLs and Evolving Roles of AMCs co-organized by Asian Development Bank (ADB) and Asia-Pacific Finance and Development Center (AFDC) was held at AFDC, Shanghai China. Over 40 participants including officials of economic ministries and central banks, public corporations, government-affiliated think tanks, and financial regulatory authorities from China, Thailand, Korea and Malaysia attended the training.
During the training, speakers and participants shared their insights and experiences on the issues including resolution of non-performing assets (NPAs) of banking sectors, best practices for establishment and operations of AMCs, historical recoveries from international AMCs and the evolving roles of AMCs, etc.
