Meiling Liu
Ph.D.
Meiling Liu is a Ph.D. of management science as well as a postdoctoral of finance. She has got the bachelor degree in computer science & technology and the master degree in accounting. Her research area is XBRL, accounting and information system, ERP, etc. Now, she is a lecturer as well as a master’s tutor of Teaching & Research Department in Shanghai National Accounting Institute, China, a trainer and the contact person of Experience Center of XBRL China (EC-XBRL-CN), the contact person of Accounting Informatization System Professional Committee of Accounting Society of China.
She has passed the XBRL Foundation Certificate of XII (XBRL International Inc.) in 2015, and she has become a BPB (Best Practices Board) member of XII. Now she is working on a book named Experiential Spread of XBRL: Theory, Methodology, and Practice, and a project named Diffusion Mechanism Research of XBRL in China sponsored by the National Natural Science Foundation of China. CFOs, CPAs, MPAccs, and EMPAccs are her main trainees.

She has published more than 30 academic papers in Accounting Research, etc., some of them are indexed by EI, CSSCI, and ISSHP.
