Song Deliang(宋德亮)
Deliang Song, getting his Ph.D from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, is the professor of Shanghai National Accounting Institute (SNAI) and the Director of SNAI Audit Institute. In 2008, he studied in Oxford University as a visiting scholar. Professor Song also serves as the Executive Director of the China Abacus Association and Shanghai Institute of audit. He is also the member of Shanghai Audit Senior Professional Titles Evaluation Committee.
Professor Song has a wealth of practical experiences and profound theoretical knowledge in financial accounting and risk management and control. He serves as an independent director and technical consultant in several companies, including Hengyuan Coal-electricity Group, Zhixin Electric, Dima Industry and Zhongxinghua Certified Public Accounting firm, etc.
Before joining SNAI, he worked in Ernst & Young (China), a famous international accounting firm, as a project manager. The audit projects he presided or participated in included the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, Fullgoal Fund Management Co., Volkswagen Insurance Co., and Baoshan Iron & Steel Co., etc. He also presided over a large number of tax consulting and internal control consulting projects.
In SNAI, the major issues that he involves include Accounting Standards for Business Enterprises setting and Corporate Internal Control specification of the Ministry of Finance. He also presides over some horizontal issues including internal control consulting of Shanghai Electric Power Company and Shanghai Lansheng Corporation.
The courses Professor Song taught are vivid and focused on accounting and auditing. The courses mainly include Accounting Standards for Business Enterprises, internal control and risk management, risk-based audit and due diligence. In these courses, theory and practice are linked closely together and professor will show the students lots of cases. He has provided training to many companies, including Baosteel Group, China Mobile Communications Corporation, China Construction Bank, Pacific Insurance Company, Shenyin Wanguo Securities Company and other major domestic companies and accounting firms.
