As a professor, Yan has conducted and finished 12 research projects on Chinese accounting convergence, taxation reform, and financial regulations on derivatives. Up to now, Yan has published more than 20 papers and 2 books, given lectures to more than 3000 managers from such international corporations as SINOPEC, and officials from Asia countries including Vietnam and Cambodia.
Attorney in the law firm with extensive corporate dealings, areas of concentration have included taxation, corporate finance, antidumping investigation, construction project and intellectual property. Now Yan is the perennial counselor-at-law of 8 Chinese local governments and list corporations, such as the Nanjing Internal Revenue Service, Nuclear Power Qin Shan Joint Venture Company Limited, and Sino-chemical Holding Company Limited. I’m now the independent director and chairman of auditing committee of Nanjing Bank, a famous list company in China.
