SHIPDET Special Topic Course Training held in SNAI
Shanghai International Program for Development Evaluation Training (SHIPEDT) Special Topic Course Training, co-hosted by SNAI (AFDI) and Independent Evaluation Department of Asian Development Bank, was held in SNAI from November 6th to 10th. 20 participants from government sectors of 8 economies in Asia, including Afghanistan, Indonesia, Philippines, Nepal, Cambodia, Laos, Pakistan and Sri Lanka, attended the training.
This training provided participants with systematic knowledge of evaluation knowledge, including the evaluation theory, criteria and framework, as well as cost benefit analysis. The courses also emphasized on the thematic evaluations, such as impact evaluations, sector evaluations and evaluation of PPP projects.
With SHIPDET entering its tenth year of delivery, by the side of this training, Marvin Taylor-Dormond, Director of the Independent Evaluation Department of the Asian Development Bank, visited the SNAI and discuss with President Li Kouqing regarding the future plan for the SHIPDET.
