2018 Asian Evaluation Week held in Chengdu, China
From September 10 to 14, 2018 Asian Evaluation Week was held in Chengdu, China, which is sponsored by the Ministry of Finance of the People's Republic of China and the Asian Development Bank (ADB), co-organized by the Independent Evaluation Department (IED) of ADB and the Shanghai National Accounting Institute (Asia-Pacific Finance and Development Institute), and supported by Sichuan Provincial Department of Finance and Performance Management Study Commission of Society of Public Finance of China.
Mr. Hao Lei, Deputy Director of Budget Division, Ministry of Finance, China, Mr. Marvin Taylor-Dormond, Director General of IED of ADB and Mr. Lu Jun, Deputy Director of Sichuan Provincial Department of Finance attended the opening ceremony and addressed separately. Dr. Li Kouqing, President of the Shanghai National Accounting Institute (Asia Pacific Finance and Development Institute), moderated the opening ceremony. More than 240 delegates from 49 countries around the world and 27 international agencies participated in this event.
