“2019 Asian Evaluation Week” (AEW) Opened in Kunming, Yunnan
September 2, 2019, the “2019 Asian Evaluation Week” (AEW) Opened in Kunming, Yunnan which co-sponsored by the Ministry of Finance PRC and the Asian Development Bank, co-organized by the Shanghai National Accounting Institute (Asia Pacific Finance and Development Institute) and the Independent Evaluation Department of the Asian Development Bank, supported by the Yunnan Provincial Department of Finance. The opening ceremony was presided over by Li Kouqing, President of the Shanghai National Accounting Institute (Asia-Pacific Finance and Development Institute). HaoLei, Deputy Director General of the Department of Budget of the Ministry of Finance PRC, Chen Shixin, Vice President of the Asian Development Bank, Marvin Taylor-Dormond, Director General of Independent Evaluation Bureau of the Asian Development Bank, and Zhang Yansong Director General of the Yunnan Provincial Department of Finance attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches respectively. Zhang Wencai, Director General of the Department of International Economic and Financial Cooperation of the Ministry of Finance, PRC presided over the first plenary session of the AEW held on the morning of the 2nd September. More than 260 delegates from more than 50 countries and over 30 international institutions participated in the event.
