2020 Asian Evaluation Week held at SNAI/AFDI
On September 7, 2020, the 2020 Asian Evaluation Week, which is co-sponsored by the Ministry of Finance and the Asian Development Bank(ADB), co-organized by the Asia Pacific Finance and Development Institute(AFDI) and the Independent Evaluation Department(IED) of the Asian Development Bank, and supported by the Shanghai Municipal Finance Bureau, was opened at the Shanghai National Accounting Institute.
Li Kouqing, President of AFDI moderated the opening session, and delivered a written speech from Cheng Lihua, Vice Minister of Ministry of Finance of China. Chen Shixin, Vice President of ADB, Marvin Taylor-Dormond, Director General of IED of ADB, and Jin Weimin, Deputy Director General, Shanghai Municipal Finance Bureau attended and addressed the opening ceremony respectively. The event, held online and offline under the theme "Evaluation: For a Better Future," attracted experts and representatives from more than 90 countries and more than 30 international institutions.
