International Students at SNAI Visited Shanghai Municipal People’s Congress

On the morning of May 17^th, under the joint planning of the Foreign Affairs Committee of Shanghai Municipal People’s Congress (SMPC) and SNAI, the SNAI international students of Classes of 2021 and 2022 went to SMPC to visit the meeting hall of the Standing Committee of the SMPC to gain an in-depth understanding of the system of the Chinese National People’s Congress and the major concept of democracy throughout the whole process. Chen Jing, deputy director of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress and president of the Municipal Friendship Association, Huang Hong, chairman of the Overseas Chinese Affairs Committee and the Foreign Affairs Committee of the SMPC, Fei Jian, deputy chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Municipal People’s Congress, Zhang Gexing, member of the Party Committee and vice dean of the college, comrades from the Legal Committee of the Standing Committee of the SMPC and the Municipal Friendship Association, and relevant comrades from SNAI’s Center of International Education participated in the activity.
