Master’s Degree Thesis Proposal Defense of 2023 International Students Concluded
Under the unified coordination of the Center for International Educational Programs and the supervision of the professors, 18 international students of Class 2023 participated in the degree thesis proposal defense in three groups on July 9th and 10th, 2024.
During the proposal defense, the international students focused on their thesis topics and reported one by one on the background, purpose, and significance of their chosen topic, along with their research methodology, current research status and development trend, outline of the thesis, expected results, and major references consulted. The expert panel for proposal defense made serious comments on the appropriateness of the thesis topics, the feasibility of the research plan, the rationality of the thesis framework, and the precision of the research methodology, etc., and provided pragmatic guidance and advice for thesis writing.
