2023 International Students Embark on Field Study in Beijing
In accordance with the curriculum of SNAI Master of Professional Accounting Program for Developing Countries, the 2023 cohort of international students participated in a "Reading China" field study from June 24 to 28, focusing on China’s reform and development. This Beijing trip was their final field study before graduation and returning to their home countries.
Over the course of the week, the students engaged in immersive learning experiences, including visits to government agencies, leading Chinese accounting firms, and prominent state-owned enterprises. They also explored traditional culture through a guqin (ancient Chinese zither) workshop and challenged themselves with a hike on the Great Wall. Through these activities, they gained deeper insights into a real, multidimensional, and comprehensive China.
